The Administration of the Research Foundation

The foundation’s board consists of 11 members, who are appointed as follows: Orion Corporation appoints two members, each Finnish university’s medical education unit appoints its own member, and additionally, Duodecim, the Finnish Chemical Society, the Finnish Pharmaceutical Society, and the Finnish Veterinary Association appoint their own representatives. The appointment of members emphasizes strong experience and research visibility.

Orion Research Foundation sr’s decisions about the grants are independent from Orion Corporation’s influence.
